How we work out what you pay, and why on longer journeys we prefer to agree the price before setting off.
Fixed fares
On longer journeys, the price is agreed before we set off
For airports, stations, hospitals and any journey of real distance we work on a fixed price. You tell us where from, where to, how many of you and when; we give you a figure. That figure is what you pay, even if the traffic is bad or there is a hold-up.
We do it that way because nobody wants to watch a meter for an hour and a half. And because someone arriving from abroad needs to know the cost before deciding.
What it depends on
What makes a transfer cost more or less
No two transfers are the same. When you call, these are the details that let us quote on the spot:
- Where from and where to, as precisely as you can.
- How many passengers. A group may need the 9-seater.
- How much luggage. Large cases, child seats, bulky equipment.
- When. A pre-dawn run, a public holiday or peak season is not a Tuesday in February.
- Whether there is a return leg, which can sometimes be adjusted.

Why do you not publish a price list?
