Beach to town
Into Vera town: 8 km and about 12 minutes
From the centre of Vera to the main Vera Playa strip is 7.7 km, roughly 12 minutes by car. To Puerto Rey it is 8.9 km, near enough the same in time.
It is a short hop but an awkward one on foot, especially carrying shopping, with suitcases or after dark. If you are staying on the coast and want to go into town — the market, the health centre, dinner — give us a ring and we will take you both ways.

Almería airport is about 60 km from Vera Playa, roughly an hour. Murcia is 108 km and Alicante 208 km.
